Principal's Message

Hello East Eagles,
I hope you are having a great summer so far. My name is Tracy Ciulla-Monteiro, and I am writing to introduce myself as the new Principal of East Middle School.

Before joining the team at East, I served as a Dean and an Assistant Dean at Brockton High School. I began my career as a Social Science Teacher at BHS. I intend to lean on my expertise at the secondary level to prepare East students for a challenging high school course load and for future success in college and career.

I believe in fostering empathy, responsibility, and joy within a close-knit community. My goal is to continue to nurture an inclusive environment where each student feels loved, respected, and supported.

I come to you with a deep appreciation for the significant role that families play in their child's educational journey. Not only do you know your child best, but you are also their first and most influential teachers. Your involvement and support are vital to their success.

I am genuinely excited about the possibilities that lie ahead, and I am confident that, together, we will create a nurturing and enriching learning community at East Middle School.

Sincerely,
Tracy Ciulla Monteiro
Principal
